    Session 1: Threat Landscape in Asia Pacific

    Asia-Pacific is the largest and fastest growing aviation market and like most modern industries, the aviation industry is increasingly dependent on cyber networks and IT systems. As global cyber threat landscape continues to evolve rapidly and impact global, regional and local cyber systems, this panel session aims to equip participants with a better understanding on who, how and what are the specific threats and challenges to the aviation industry in Asia Pacific and also importantly why aviation is often an attractive target for cyber-attack

    Session 2: How to Enhance Cyber Capabilities in your Organization

    This session will provide participants with best practice guidance on how to enhance their organisations cyber capabilities through a presentation by Ernst & Young detailing what makes a good enhancement program including a checklist of ‘how you get started’, followed by a real world case study by Qantas Group on their enhancement journey over the last few years. Participants will then have an opportunity to apply the guidance provided by Ernst & Young and Qantas in an interactive session involving participants working in small groups to define the steps to take in creating a cyber enhancement program noting that there are various approaches and the approach needs to be tailored for each individual organisation

    Session 4: Leveraging Other Capabilities Through Collaboration

     

    The complex and expanding civil aviation ecosystem, spanning across borders and domains, present opportunities for malicious cyber actors with diverse capabilities, targets and motivations. Securing aviation against cyber threats is a shared responsibility involving all stakeholders and it is critical that they cooperate and adopt a collaborative and risk-based approach. This session shares on other resources available that can augment and leverage efforts to develop and strengthen capabilities and resilience to effectively mitigate cyber threats
