  • Meet Prof. Fernando Reimers, Harvard Graduate School of Education

Prof. Fernando Reimers, Ford Foundation Professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, will share his unique experience from working with governments across the globe with us.

His research provides pragmatic and grounded answers to questions such as, how can a cosmopolitan view on the world be taught to students beyond the usual "elite circles"?;  What is the role of education in reaching the United Nation's Sustainable Development Goals? How can schools teach understanding and compassion?; How do we (re-)learn to engage with others with whom we fundamentally disagree on race, gender, national identity?

The conversation with Professor Reimers will be followed by a cocktail in the gardens of the Maison de l'Argentine.
