    A Century of French and Americans Bonds in the Air

    Side by Side with the Patrouille de France

    World-class photographer Herve Saint-Helier followed Patrouille de France (French Air Force) for 5 weeks in the US; he will tell us the story of this majestic
    journey of Fraternity and Peace, in honor of the Franco-American alliance since WWI.
    His spectacular photos are being released for the first time in Paris and will be available at a special price that evening, along with a book of the exhibition. 
    A charity auction will also be held during the event for the Legion of Honor Society's annual fund drive to help veterans and their families. 
    Guests will enjoy champagne and a buffet.

     Spring 2017: Yorick de Guichen and Hervé Saint-Helier drive across America to follow the Patrouille de France US tour, coming to honor the centenary of the US engagement in WWI. They follow the prestigious French Air Force unit to discover how Americans perceive the message from France.

    Their photographic documentary portrays the profound partnership between America and France. The project has received personal congratulations from French President, Emmanuel Macron.

    Hervé Saint Hélier (www.hervesainthelier.com) begins his career as a photojournalist, distributed by news agencies SYGMA and SIPA Press. Hervé enriched his practice with fine art silver photography through travels around the world. He is particularly known for his coverage of the French Navy cruise, La Jeanne d’Arc, crossing the Atlantic, as well as the Concorde and “Voyages Urbains” Series. His work joined numerous private collections such as the Société Générale Collection and the Fondation Carmignac. It is regularly exhibited in art fairs around the world, starting with Paris Photo this November. Hervé is represented throughout Europe, Asia and in the US by the Marlborough Graphics Gallery.

    Yorick de Guichen is the author of the book “Les secrets d’un Leader” (Robert Laffont) featuring Cédric Tranchon, the Patrouille de France 2011 leader. He also manages a marketing and communication agency MIG28.  Yorick is a member of the Society of the Cincinnati founded by George Washington in 1783. He is the descendent of Admiral Luc Urbain de Guichen, Lieutenant Général des Armées Navales in the Royal French Navy (La Royale) who fought for the Independence War of America.
