    The Government of Canada is hosting a 2.5-day technical workshop to assess the benefits and barriers of using new ship designs and leading technologies to reduce underwater noise from ships. The workshop aims to bring experts and policy makers together to share knowledge and advance work on quiet ship designs and technologies to protect the marine environment.

    Experts in ship design or underwater noise from ships, including naval architects, national policy makers, marine engineers, ship owners and operators, shipyards, industry associations, researchers and academics are encouraged to attend.
