BlogTalk 2008 will be of interest to developers, practitioners and academics, and aims to provide a cross-disciplinary forum for the discussion of social software ideas, visions, prototypes and use cases.

The event is being co-chaired by John Breslin, researcher at DERI and co-founder of boards.ie, Thomas N. Burg, BlogTalk founder and social software expert with Playyoo, Tom Raftery, social media consultant, blogger and podcaster, and Jan Schmidt, a senior researcher at the Hans Bredow Institute.
