Welcome to the Innovation Labs Hackathon - an event for students, young professionals, and researchers who want to experiment, share, learn and test out their start-up idea! 

 You pitch your idea in  minute in front of the public. 

 You draw-up your idea and compete for the most votes in the Crowd Voting session. 

  You inspire the audience, find team members and go on to build your prototype all night long - with mentorship and lots of coffee @ Biblioteca Centrala a Universitatii Politehnica din Bucuresti. 

In the end, you present your prototype, physically, in front of the jury, renowned IT professionals, business gurus, and tech-angels, pitch again with a 2 minute presentation (this time with slides and Q&A) – and keep your fingers crossed to be one of the selected teams to enter the mentorship program.

What to expect?

 The most intense and interesting 30 hours of your life in an interactive Hackathon - details for joining the event will be provided via e-mail, prior to the event. 

• Both days will be hosted by Politehnica University of Bucharest. 

For whom?

 Tech and non-tech students, young professionals, and researchers that want to build a disruptive product are warmly invited! We encourage teams of people with complementary skills - so you're welcome to join even if you don't have a technical background.

You can either bring your own idea to the table or join another idea that you like. Also, you can come with your team to the event, or just come by yourself and meet here potential co-founders!

 

What comes next?

 If you are one of the finalists, you'll enter the pre-acceleration program. From March to May, you will develop your product together with exceptional mentors. In May, you get the chance to showcase your product at Demo Day, where you'll pitch in front of investors and accelerators.
