1. CO2- Compensation
If the “CO2- Compensation” option is selected with the purchase of a ticket, the attendee will receive a certificate from ClimatePartner with the attendee’s name and the name of the event. The attendee’s name and the event’s title will be sent in this case only to ClimatePartner. If this option is not selected, no user data will be sent to ClimatePartner.
2. Attendee Data
The attendee data gathered for an event (e.g. during a ticket purchase or event registration) will be accessible to the event organiser. This is necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g. for managing the entry at an event). The event host can determine whether certain participant data are displayed on a publicly accessible attendee list. As an attendee, you are able to remove your details from the attendee list or to contact the event organiser and XING Events with regard to this matter.
3. Use of the Facebook-Like-Button
On the XING Events website plug-ins of the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are integrated. During your visit of the XING Events website your IP address is transferred to Facebook because of a direct connection between the browser and the facebook server. Thus Facebook receives the information that you have visited our website with your IP address. Further information is in Facebook’s data use policy which you can find here.
XING Events does not receive any information on the content of the transferred data.
Only by clicking the like-button the visit on the website can be assigned to the data released in a Facebook profile. Thus Facebook can assign the visit on the XING Events websites to the Facebook user account. If you do not wish to transfer data to Facebook, you can disable an assignment of data by previously logging out from the Facebook user account.
