XING Events impresses with structured data collection and innovative ticketing system

Initial situation

Each year, expopharm is delighted to receive growing interest from professional experts within the pharmacy industry. In 2015, the fair achieved record attendance as it welcomed 28,000 trade visitors from industry and pharmacies. Along with their invitation, attendees also received a voucher that could be redeemed either online with a voucher code or at the event itself. Voucher redemption and ticket purchases were linked to an extensive set of structured attendee data so as to create a comprehensive database.

To meet the unique requirements of expopharm, a specialist project manager was assigned to support the event organiser and a full-service concept was developed. The unique requirements of expopharm were fully met both by XING's professional project team and the innovative ticketing system that they created for the trade fair. In addition to handling over 500,000 voucher codes, a structured questionnaire that enabled comprehensive acquisition of attendee data was developed in conjunction with expopharm and integrated into this system. This made it possible to adapt the flexible solution created by XING Events to meet the specific requirements of expopharm in order to ensure a smooth entry process for the event.
